Happy New Year 2014

RVing Florida to Upstate NY and back again
2013 RV Trails North & South

Happy New Year to all our family, friends and neighbors of the road.
It was a very good year for us starting with the maiden voyage of our new Excel up the East Coast from Tampa to the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate NY. It was our first trip along Rte 17 and first-time stopovers in Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey. We found some really nice, economical campgrounds, dined on some great seafood, and explored some scenes of historical and “bucket list” significance.

Our Summer Workamping destination was the Warrensburg Travel Park near Lake George, NY. The work and the people couldn’t have been better and the owners were great to work for. The work and the base gave us ample opportunity to explore much of the Adirondacks as well as the Green Mountain State of Vermont.

Our Fall trip back South took us through our favorite Finger Lakes Wine Country, we found covered bridges near the shores of Lake Erie, Kentucky’s home of country music, the view from the top of Lookout Mountain, and a nice visit to the hometown of a peanut farmer named Jimmy Carter.

RVing gives us a simple but exciting and always gratifying way of life. Each year our travels take us from our Southern, Winter base near the white sandy beaches along the Gulf Coast to the Northern, cool mountain lakes and streams and majestic Fall colors of New England. Life is good, we have no complaints.

Hopefully we might get to meet you somewhere down the road this coming new Season . We hope we do, we’d like that.
